Electronic MAR charts
We produce each resident’s medicines administration record, on screen, from the medicines we dispense. When we receive a prescription change from the prescriber, we update the record. Your home remains responsible for checking the record is correct, for recording each dose given, and for acting on changes the prescriber tells you about. Keeping the record electronic can reduce handwritten amendments.
Delivery and ordering support
Regular, scheduled deliveries to the home. Your home keeps responsibility for ordering from the GP surgery. We tell you promptly if an item on your order has not been supplied or is not available, so your staff can follow it up with the surgery. A pharmacist is available by phone during our opening hours to answer questions about a resident’s medicines.
Care home supplies
Everyday care home items that are not on NHS prescription are sold separately at our normal prices and invoiced separately from NHS prescriptions. Ask us for the current list.
NHS prescriptions for your residents are dispensed as an NHS service. Any extra services beyond that are agreed with you before they start.
